Both quality and taste are determined in sea where mussels feed on natural plankton and grow without human interference; it is a 100% natural product! For that reason, the Groups superb mussel beds, which are rich in plankton, and the dedication and craftsmanship of the Barbé Group, are vital.

In this context quality implies more than sensory quality. It also implies the safeguarding of the production process and the accreditation of food safety. Thanks to the Groups integrated production chain and the effort of the employees and owners the required quality standards are easily met. The Barbé Group is both HACCP and IFS accredited by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Ltd.
